We are writing this commendation letter to highlight the superb work done by
South County Post & Beam. The sheer professionalism, timeliness, work ethic,
knowledge and all around courtesy of the crew exceeded our expectations.
South County Post and Beam has truly found a unique way to blend the best aspects
of age old post and beam framing techniques with the most modern building technologies,
including foam insulation to crane assisted assembly. My neighbor is an engineer
who actually built my original home. He said he would have built the entire
house the way South County Post and Beam has done if he only had the equipment
back then. My other neighbor has been a builder his entire life and is now considering
South County Post and Beam construction rather than building his own home. Yet
another neighbor wants a South County Post and Beam barn…and the list
goes on.
We live on a busy main road and have received many unsolicited compliments
from an ongoing stream of strangers and friends alike during each and every
phase of the construction. People are amazed at the quality of the wood and
the ingenious SIP panels. I still can't believe that within five short days
we were able to get the structure built, the wood sealed/oiled, and the walls
prepped for finished painting…all while the structure was coming together.
I am the second member of my family to build a South County Post and Beam structure
and you can consider the Keeley family to be an ongoing reference for your company
and your craftsmanship.

Dear Ken –
As I write, the setting sun is casting a golden glow on the east side of Rogers
Lake, a gorgeous view – but then it is always a gorgeous view. Brian and
I would like to thank you and all the crew who worked so hard to make this view
possible. We know there were moments when we were all a little frustrated, but
now we are enjoying a little piece of lakeside heaven. The family reunion in August
made every bit of effort worth it. Eleven stayed at the cottage and we managed
to feed several crowds of 25+. The family wants to make it an annual event –
shades of days past!

I chose South County Post & Beam because others had had a good experience and
because of their local expertise… Everything was done expeditiously, on time.
Everyone was professional. The crew was great, very nice... I am very pleased…
It was very exciting to see the house go up and I had no idea what a pleasure
it would be for others to watch. People parked across from the beach and watched
it go up. My favorite part was watching the frame being put together. It fit
together so beautifully like a jigsaw puzzle.

My favorite things about working with South County Post & Beam were the communication and openness… It was just great communication even though they were three and a half hours away… No question was too stupid. Everything was explained. They even told me what I could do to speed up the process… The guys on the team were wonderful. They were magic.
You can put my name on any list for anyone or any customer that wants to talk to me personally… The barn is beautiful like a cathedral with a gambrel roof… If you want something substantial that is going to last 200 years go to South County Post & Beam.
